TrackMan founder Fredrik Tuxen and coach Liam Mucklow unveil one of the biggest product launches in TrackMan history: integrated 3D motion analysis that puts ball data, club data, and body data into the same coordinate system — no markers required.
Tuxen traces TrackMan's 23-year evolution: from tracking where the ball lands, to measuring spin rate (because equipment manufacturers asked), to club tracking and the D-plane, and now to body tracking — the natural next step because "the club does what the body does." The new system requires just two cameras (down-the-line and face-on) and calibrates in under 30 seconds.
Liam Mucklow, who has used every major 3D system (K-Vest, Gears, Qualisys, Kinetraks), shares why having everything in one connected system eliminates the nightmare of pairing data from multiple sources. He demonstrates how simple alignment changes create dramatic shifts in club path, face-to-path, and curvature — all visible for the first time in one unified view.
The system adds 26 new parameters (positions, rotations, translations), is trained against Qualisys ground truth, tracks joint centers within 2cm, and is included in existing TrackMan subscriptions at no extra charge. For coaches only — the Stickman view requires calibration to activate.
